Pepito and Joanne
Pepito and Joanne
“On the stage, the buoyant humor of Pepito, the Spanish clown, is the outstanding feature of a better than average vaudeville program. Pepito has many tricks in his bag and all are novel, from his method of ventriloquism to his imitation of a hungry infant and his thoroughly delightful travesty of a concert singer. Assisting him are Juanita*, who presents a difficult routine of contortionism and Bombo, a secondary clown. Juanita is almost as versatile as the gifted Pepito. During the act she plays the accordion and dances.”
*Juanita was one of Joanne’s stage names.
