Pepito and Joanne

Filmography of Pepito Perez

Historical Context:  Jose Escobar “Pepito” Perez never had the opportunity to rent videotapes or DVDs and re-watch his scenes from the many Hollywood films in which he appeared.  He died in 1975, the same year that Betamax and VHS video cassette recorders (VCRs) first came out.  Pepito would be amazed and pleased if he knew that his movie clips can now be viewed on this website, using home computers (which first entered the market in 1977), using the World Wide Web (which launched in 1989, and took off in popularity in 1993).
